1986

The first steps in Remersdael

Jean-Marie Ernst founds ATI Industrie in Remersdael. At that time, the company had only three employees and was only active in the field of industrial electricity.

1986-2019

The expansion of the family business

ATI grows and builds a solid reputation, based on quality and a real local service. Its offices quickly become too small and a new building is built in Thimister-Clermont, in the Verviers region (Province of Liege).

Automation, cabling, logistics, design office, lighting, … Its service offer is evolving and will fully integrate robotics from 2019.

The ATI team logically accompanies this growth to gradually pass the 80-person mark, while the company’s offices have undergone no less than three expansions for the creation of an assembly hall, the addition of a storage hall and the extension of the administrative offices.

2020

Integration in the Eiffage Group

On 1 January 2020, ATI Industrie will become part of the Belgian branch Eiffage Energie Systèmes of the Eiffage Group, the European leader in construction and concessions.

Jean-Marie Ernst will hand over the management of the company to Jean-Yves Denoël, who will capitalise on his knowledge of ATI and its customers to continue the company’s growth.

2021-2022

Industrial vision and the first AGV

ATI is further expanding its range of services. In 2021, it acquired the Liège-based company VIC Ing, which specialises in stock management (WMS, SGW) and vision-based quality control and compliance systems.

In 2022, it will put its first AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) into service in Luxembourg, at Accumalux.
